This being an election year, I wonder, does anyone believe anything that a candidate says when they’re running for office? And, if some people do, can we have them committed? They’re obviously insane. I’m mainly talking about the two major parties here.
That being said, the person I would least want in the White House is another Bush OR Clinton. I’m sick of them both. Since I’m not going to vote for either major party in the general election, I’ve decided to have some fun in the primaries. Being a new resident in Texas, I’ve decided to ‘affiliate’ with the Democrats just so I can vote for Obama. I really see no significant difference in McCain, Obama, or Clinton. I don’t want any of them to be president. However, Hillary seems to want this so badly and seems to think she is somehow entitled to the nomination. She has always struck me as a royal bitch and I’m going to take great delight in, hopefully, putting a big, fat, electoral boot up her ass.
Seeing her hopes and dreams shattered will fill me with joy. Knowing I was a part of her downfall will be a source of pride for me for years to come.
The Presidency is fucked anyway - so, why not?

Well, I did it. I went and cast a vote for Obama. Actually, I can’t really say I voted (or will vote) FOR anyone; I voted AGAINST Clinton. In my opinion, she wants this too badly. Every decision she has ever made in her adult life has been with this goal in mind. She’s obssessed with this pursuit and she never expected to have to go up against a serious contender. She expected to ride into the convention on her white horse, accept the nomination, and ride on into the White House. Now, Obama is bending her over and riding her. I find it hilarious. I feel the same amount of glee when a supremely confident American Idol contestant auditions and then gets sent home in tears for being awful. Nothing delights me more than seeing hopes shattered and dreams crushed. If she loses the nomination, the amount of venom that should be spewing forth from her for years to come will be nothing short of awesome. I expect Bill to take cover and disappear for while. Meanwhile, I’ll be laughing like a maniac.
She could still get the nomination, but I still get the satisfaction of knowing I made it just a little more difficult for her. And, if by some stretch of the imagination she wins it all, I have this blog and the message boards to still have fun with her.
